It is our privilege to invite you to: “Haemophilia Care: From Innovation to Integration.” organized by Hemophilia Advocacy Society, Punjab (Chapter)
Remarkable advances in therapeutics for haemostasis in the last decade have completely transformed the management of haemophilia. While these advances enhance options for treating haemophilia, they also bring new challenges of understanding their mechanisms of action, efficacy and safety issues compared to conventional therapies, laboratory monitoring particularly during emergencies as well as cost and access issues.
As some of these advances make their way into India, this conference is designed to create an opportunity to discuss these issues, learn from different perspectives, gain insights from leading experts, and foster meaningful connections among healthcare professionals. Within the current structure of haemophilia care in India, a very important consideration is to plan for these advances to be included within the access processes in different states of the country.

Hemophilia Advocacy Society is Pioneer Society of Punjab which is run by the Hemophilics For the Hemophilics. In our State the conditions of Hemophilics were very worst and there was no body ready to listen the problems of Hemophilics. Hemophilics was spending their lives on the mercy of God.

In May 2014 the Blood Brothers of entire Punjab came to under one roof due to common issues and Hemophilia Advocacy Society originated. The Blood Brother regsitered a society i.e. Hemophilia Advocacy Society Punjab ( in Short – HAS ) under Societies Registration Act, 1860.
Objectives of Hemophilia Advocacy Society
The aims & objects of HAS shall be as follows:
- To establish, maintain, assist, encourage, promote and render medical care for Hemophilia and other such disorders.
- To propagate and run programmes and projects including education and rehabilitation of the affected people from such disorders.
- To provide relief measures in regard to Hemophilia .
- To impart, propagate/advocate for the need, knowledge, education in treatment and management of Hemophilia and other disorders & organizing. Seminars and workshops on such diseases. Also establish run, encourage & help the institutions, centers imparting/ rendering the knowledge, education, training for such disorders.
- To establish and bring about the cooperation and coordination with Government agencies, authorities and other private or public bodies in Punjab, with other organizations in furtherance and advancement of the welfare of sufferers of such disorders.
- To cause, to encourage the enactment of legislations helping the sufferers of Hemophilia and related disorders in the State level.
